Coco Martin does not endorse online gambling platforms, CCM Productions clarify

Philippine TV actor Coco Martin is not an endorser of a casino or online gambling platforms.

In a statement, his production company CCM Productions has clarified via redes sociales Instagram that the TV personality is not connected to any form of gambling.

“Nais naming linawin na si Coco Martin ay hindi konektado, nag-eendorso, o nagpo-promote ng anumang uri ng sugal o online gambling operations.”

Further, the statement said that any advertisement, post on redes sociales, or any materials circulating online containing Coco’s photo or anything that identifies him is not authorized.

Hence, they are advising the public to be wary of such scheme, and avoid transacting with individuals or companies using deceit to promote their services.

“Para sa mga opisyal na anunsyo at lehitimong endorsements, mangyaring tumingin lamang sa kanyang mga opisyal at beripikadong channels.”

Online gambling refers to any kind of gambling conducted on the internet. This includes virtual poker, casinos, and sports betting.

Casinos, which includes those having online operations, has to be approved by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) to be able to operate legally in the country.

Coco Martin has recently starred in the top-rater FPJ’s Batang Quiapo which ended last Month after a total of seven seasons and 799 episodes.

The story follows Tanggol who is one of the biggest outlaws in their neighborhood as he navigates his life to survive in Quiapo, Manila.

The prime actor is set to star in another highly anticipated teleserye titled Sigabo.
