The story revolves around Marcus, Bela and Baron who are tasked to serve as government agent, with goal of ending the widespread violence caused by illegal firearms.

As Marcus’ group takes action into finding the hideout of the illegal firearms, the group will make an attack in the peaceful community of Jalil. Will this incident help find the individuals engaged in the crime or will it kickstart further brawls?

The TV series is about people who are supposed to be connected but fate will find a way to separate them. But it’s not that simple, fate has bigger plans to make them fight against its other – or will it make them find solution to former misunderstandings as the story goes.

Blood vs. Duty will be led by Richard, Bela Padilla, Gerald Anderson, Baron Geisler, and Barbie Imperial.

This will be directed by FM Reyes, Bjoy Balagtas, and Rico Navarro. Erwin Tagle serves as action director. The writers are Dindo Perez, Cenon Palomares, Jann Kayla Mendoza and Shania Vonzel.

The show will have an early upload on Netflix by April 3, iWant on April 4. Regular showing on Philippine TV will start April 6 through Kapamilya Channel, ABS-CBN sa ALL TV 2 and A2Z. Also online with Kapamilya Online Live.

Richard has said that having his soap aired on the first slot is a challenge. “Since I moved to ABS-CBN, wala pang nakakapasok do’n sa timeslot as male lead, di ba? So, ngayon pa lang na may lead na papasok aside from Coco.”

The actor added that it was a challenge accepted, and he feels excited for the opportunity. Nevertheless, he feels pressured.

“Yeah, in-explain din naman sa amin ‘yun pero wala pa namang final, basta right now, we are embracing where we are, we are praying for success na magustuhan ng mga tao and we’ll take it from there.”
